Terms and Conditions

RESERVATIONS
We gladly accept reservations made by telephone and require a deposit of £50 per room per night.

BEDROOMS
All bedrooms have private facilities, complimentary toiletries, hair-dryer, Remote control LCD television with radio, direct-dial telephone and beverage making facilities.

CELEBRATION ROOMS
Our wonderfully individual Celebration Rooms are quite unique. Some boast sunken Jacuzzi baths, some boast beautiful Four Poster Beds and one has a fabulous Victorian theme – ever so quirky for a special night away! – Little extras include the use of luxury bathrobes, slippers and a complementary bowl of fruit.

EXECUTIVE ROOMS
Executive Rooms are larger than Classic Rooms and have cosy balconies offering glimpses of Falmouth Bay.

CLASSIC ROOMS
Classic Rooms are very comfortable and offer good accommodation for visitors needs. Most can be found in the new wing of the Hotel but some are located in the Old House are very Individual in their layout.

SINGLE ROOMS
Single Rooms are Cosy but perfect for a few days away or overnight on business.

FIRE SAFETY
The Hotel is equipped with fire detection and alarms.  Please make yourself aware of the fire exits and full fire emergency procedures, which are displayed in your room and Guest Information folders.

GENERAL LIABILITY
Whilst the Company has taken all reasonable steps to ensure that the information in its brochures, tariffs, leaflets and advertisements is accurate, it reserves the right to alter, substitute or withdraw any service facility or amenity without prior notice if necessary.
Not with standing anything contained in these terms, the Company will not be liable for any failure to perform its obligations to the client in whole or part as a result of any action which is beyond the control of the Company/Hotel such action including, but not restricted to:

  1. Strikes
  2. Other Industrial Action
  3. Fire or Flood at or near the Hotel
  4. Civil Unrest, Dispute or Commotion
  5. Act of God
  6. Legal Action against the Company not resulting from negligence, preventing the supply of services.  

WINDOWS AND BALCONIES
We draw your attention to the dangers of open windows and balconies in rooms where there are small children, and ask all parents to be mindful of the risk of an accident.

SMOKING
The Green Lawns operates a No Smoking Policy throughout the Bedrooms, all public areas and the Restaurants. Guests are welcome to smoke in the gardens and or at designated outside smoking areas.

ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE
Free on-site parking is available at the Green Lawns; however the Hotel does not accept responsibility for damage or theft of vehicles or their contents whilst parked on site. Undercover parking may be available.
Bedrooms are not normally available until 2pm; however an earlier check in may be possible upon request.  Bedrooms should be vacated by 11am on the day of departure.

VALUABLES
The Hotel cannot be held responsible for articles of value, other than those deposited with Reception for safe custody in the Hotel safe, for which a receipt will be given.

CANCELLATIONS
Guests are invited to consider an independent holiday insurance scheme, applications for which are available from Hotel Reception. All cancellations should be received by the Hotel in writing.
In the event of a cancellation more than 28 days prior to the day of arrival, the deposit will be refunded in full.  Within 28 days, the deposit will be held by the Hotel, to be credited against another stay within six months of the cancellation date.

PAYMENT
Accounts are to be settled upon departure. All major credit cards (£2.50 administration charge) and debit cards are accepted. Cheques are welcome for deposits only but will require at least one week for clearance. The Hotel reserves the right to ask for alternative payment or further identification.

The Green Lawns reserves the right to alter these terms and conditions without notice
