  • Welcome to our new website!

We are celebrating 100 years of Garras (the original name of the Hotel, which is Cornish, for the house on the hill) and you will be pleased to know that we are freshening things up a little bit. We have just begun a programme of enhancement, and will be gradually working our way through the hotel enhancing accommodation and refreshing our offering. But worry not, we have been careful enough to ensure that this will happen without visitors being disturbed.

    Food and Drink

We have a new pick and mix Restaurant Menu which means that you can enjoy a full three course meal should you wish to indulge or simply enjoy a freshly made sandwich, a bowl of chips and a glass of crisp cool sauvignon if you fancy something light. We have also just launched our cool Cocktail List and new Wine List. Wine lovers will be able to skip around the globe enjoying fruity flavours from beautiful vine yards. • Breakfast Award
  • Enjoy England has announced a new Breakfast Award for Falmouth’s Green Lawns Hotel.

The award recognises hotels within the scheme that offer their guests a quality breakfast, service and hospitality over and above the normal expectations of their star rating. It enables visitors to identify premises where owners, managers, chefs and staff have gone the extra mile to ensure breakfast is well above the normal standard.

“The Breakfast Award scheme showcases hotels that offer exceptional quality in their breakfasts,” said Hotel General Manager, Neil Slade.

“We are delighted to have received an award that recognises establishments that make the most of the local produce on offer in their area and create an excellent customer experience each morning at breakfast. Visitors can trust this accolade as each holder of the award will be subject to an annual review to ensure that the quality of the food offer and service at breakfast times remains outstanding.”
